If you thought slavery ended with the American civil war, then you'd be mistaken. It still happens today in many parts of the world- and it's still legal in some countries. One country this video focuses on is Haiti and the efforts of the Restevek foundation.

He-man and The Masters of the Universe is an 80s cartoon classic, reintroducing kids to cartoon violence. The History of He-Man and the Masters of the Universe by manwhoooo is a great reedit of actual clips from the original 80s cartoon. This is a great montage with great background music accompanying it. Succinctly, telling the history of how He-man and The Masters of the Universe all began. Really useful reediting of scenes from He-man to give us the story in an engaging, entertaining chronological way.

Randomly searching for animations on Internet can bring us pleasant surprises...
Check out this animation that has been favoured by hundreds of Japanese style animation fans. According to many blogs in the net, it's been made by Hiroyasu Ishida, a young student at Kyoto Seika University. An University with its own Faculty of Manga... Now, those are some studies I didn't even know existed!
Although having received some help with backgrounds and 3D CG textures, it seems that most of the work has been made by this 21 y.o. animator. This is someone to keep an eye on in the future!
Here it is the original version in Japanese. Not many dialogues, and pretty easy to guess what happens: A young girl is turned down by Fumiko, who prefers to play baseball rather than going out with her...
